Headline news in America today:
?Britney Spears ordered to child proof her house?
and then, right below this headline, as if CNN was concerned with helping Brtiney prepare for her future, the next headline
?where elderly prostitutes go to retire.?
all the other headlines were about death, destruction, and or the failures of man ? not one news story about ?greatness? or ?achievement? by an average man or woman.
Absolutely despicable.
I promise this will be the last time I waste time discussing news in America ? however, seriously ? reflect on all the absolute shit news stories that America, the most powerful nation in the world is feeding us?..absolutely nothing positive nor motivational is gained from learning where Britney will go to retire ?
Unfortunately ? this is what the public is demanding ? part of the basic principle of ?supply what is demanded?.?
Which leads me to ask ?.. Why are people who live in the most powerful nation in the world today more interested in hearing about the failures of others and/or about destruction and smut ? instead of hearing about the ?greatness? of man?

It is interesting that the status-quo-lowest-common-denominator-public cog does not want to read about the success of other people too much. It would be too challenging. Rather, emphasise the failures, and instill fear to keep people bound to their inhibitions.
