What a ridiculous day I have had…
I woke up this morning to discover headline news….”Britney Spears 16 year old sister is pregnant and before she turns 17 will be a proud mother …. (this was the third line on the headline news section of CNN.com)
….In one of naseba’s offices we have an employee that purposefully tried to poison two members of the office…admited this to the Sales Director of the office as well as two other people that work in the office….all three of these people testified to this….
She put bleach in someones milk and changed the throat spray of the best sales executive to window cleaner which was the same color as his throat medicine…just because he is focused and successful.
When I heard of this attempted murder … I had the employee escorted out of the office…I would love to have called the police and terminated her….like you would expect to be done to such an employee….
but I forgot that this is the “real world…..”
…as no “warning memo” was given by Mickey, the person who was running the office, I was informed that legally naseba was not allowed to terminate this person from the company….and legally, naseba must allow this person to come to work….
Yes. I bet you are saying exactly what I said when I was told this: “What the F….. ???”
So I was informed that this person must be allowed to come to the office … and work…..under the auspices of “liberty” and “justice”
but those that know scott ragsdale….know that i do not allow a pile of garbage to sit in a corner and fester….and potentially allow the stench to distract and or harm the office……and to ensure that the garbage was taken out of the office today…
the company was forced to to pay 3 months severance….just to have the “privledge” of terminating this persons employment.
Can you imagine….I woke at 3:30 this morning in a great mood … had my coffee and morning disturbed by one of the top headline news in America…informing about a spoiled 16 year old wanna be, a person who has achieved absolutely nothing in her 16 years of life other than being the sister of the Queen of mediocrity…yet still commands headline news because she is going to be a mother at 16….
and then….to further my dispair….I have my morning cigar and diet coke ruined….when I am called on my mobile and informed by our lawyers that I must pay a ransom just to get an attempted murderer out of one of my offices.
Where is John Galt???

I’ve basically stopped reading the news from home due to the fact that the news services, and by extension the majority of the reading public, cannot distinguish between fame and relevance. News of merit is being buried under dunes of irrelevance, partisanship and soft-copy PR- and the average consumer cannot or will not distinguish between them.
There is no longer a line between deserved fame and shameful notoriety- and as that line has blurred, the distinction between earning merit and assuming entitlement has begun to vanish.
Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and their like could not be ‘famous’ otherwise.
