woke at 4:00 am  (slept great)
breakfast:  oatmeal, 3 brown toast, lots of water and strong coffee
BIKE:  6 hours
I drove a bit longer into the desert so I could go for a longer ride instead of my normal loop.
My trek got fitted with tri bars, but they are shit and I find the bike terribly uncomfortable.
lunch:  tomato mozzorella salad, then an hour later chicken cesar salad and tiramasu for desert.  (lunch at BICE in dubai)
dinner:  lebonese, but I didnt eat too much

comments:  my ride was good but very slow.  The wind was against me 90% of the ride and at one point it seemed like a wind sand storm and the bike was going only 16km/h because of the wind.  I got a new water bottle fitted on the front of the bike, but I do not like it.  My tri bars also need to be improved because they losened on the ride and shifted positions.  overall good ride and I felt good all day.  mario – i will update my journal; but for the most part I have stuck to the plan.  I have not swum for a long time, but will swim tomorrow after my BRICK.  I have a pool at the apartment i live in dubai, but I have been super busy the past 2 weeks traveling to Cairo, Kuwait, Riyadh and Monaco.
