woke at 3:45 (slept great)
had a good breakfast and coffee, and then drove to an area between dubai and abu dhabi which is ideal for biking.
BIKE:  5:55
RUN:  about an hour – walked first 5 minutes and tried to run as long as I could without walking.
total training:  6:55  (all done before 12:30)

comments:  mentally, i was prepared for a long bike, but the ride was very long and boring.  Stupidly, I decided to ride in an area which is a 14km loop – thus the ride went by very slowly because the loop was about every 22 minutes.  My shoulders hurt from the TT bars and I had to change positions several times throughout the ride.
Another rider passed me going so fast, I didnt even see what type of bike he was riding.  I took 3 water bottles, and two vegan approved power bars.  My cadence was around 75 …. which seems very poor.
I dont know my speed because the odometer doesnt work.  however, i guess around 25-27, not much faster.
As soon as I finished, I put the bike in the car and gor ready for my run.
my run started very poorly, but after 10 minutes, I got into a rythm — i bet I wasnt running faster than 6km/h ….
Now its 13:30 and I am dead tired!  Would love to take a nap, but must now go to lunch with the family.
I was in much better shape in October for WAIM … its a waste that I did not do that one.
