consistency, focus, commitment.

A repost from a couple months ago.

Adam Fletcher and I were discussing my training – and I reminded him that my challenge, like many things in life comes down to this simple thought:  finish or failure.

Adam replied:

“This is your story.  You get to decide how the story ends…”

Consistency.

How many times have you set out to do something, but veered off your course, and lost sight of what you wanted to achieve – because staying on course — being consistent can be difficult, very difficult.

 …“should have and could have…but didn’t.”

Some people reading this might be on a diet, training to get in shape for a better body, or studying a language, even just wanting to become great at your job, etc.

Life might not be fair – but when it comes down to many of our dreams – – many, most of our goals…

we get to decide how our story ends.

  1. Scott, you are such an inspiration. I can identify with almost every blog of yours. I found your blog when I was interviewing for a role at naseba earlier this year and this has truly been life changing for me. I have just come back from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and am looking for my next challenge.

    I certainly look at what I do, and how I do it, differently now – from thinking twice before posting a negative/irrelevant post on Facebook to making decisions that ensure that I am just living my best life! T H A N K Y O U S C O T T R A G S D A L E for being a positive influence in my life!

I have no doubt that you will conquer the naseba7 and your goal of being the fittest you have ever been.

Best wishes and keep doing what you are doing.

  2. Everytime during my run I think about your challenge and feel energized
My goal is nothing infront of what you have achieved so far but you make the feel so much energize by focus on what possible a person could become

    Awesome post Scort
